EarTop Technologies Supplies A Life Unplugged To Users

FLOW Series Streams Music To Consumers Headphones
EarTop Technologies is working to create a Life Unplugged, a life with no wires. They are taking the first steps in that direction with the creation of their first product FLOW.cheap beats by dre.
Soon, users of FLOW will be able to stream music from their smartphone to their Beats Solo, Beats Studio and the Bose QuietComfort 15.dr dre studio.
“Wires always seem to be getting in the way, I wanted to give consumers the opportunity to stream music to their headphones,” said EarTop CEO Ketan Rahangdale. “Everything else on the market gives up audio quality and battery life, we didn’t want our users to sacrifice anything.”
EarTop Technologies is asking tech and music enthusiasts to help the company accelerate its launch with a Kickstarter campaign. Their campaign began August 2 and runs until September 11. The EarTop team plans to ship the first FLOW Series units in December 2012.
FLOW has already made popular technology news, with coverage on Tech Cocktail, Mashable, Inc.com, Bostinno.com and FOX News LIVE.
Features of FLOW
FLOW Series has a battery life up to 12 hours, well beyond the average wireless headphones currently on the market. To answer an incoming call, FLOW has two built-in, noise canceling microphones.
The FLOW connects to your smartphone using Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR & APTX Technologies, which makes the sound quality better than when listening through wires. Currently, the pre-order price is only $60.00, well under the market value, but the first 200 backers can get theirs for $50.00.
With a range of 30 feet, you can keep your smartphone or other bluetooth enabled devices out of harms way while still enjoying your favorite music.
The EarTop team is currently working on a few other mounts for the flow. A connection for a stereo is in the pipeline as well as a clip on mount which will work with virtually any headphones. This will give users the ability to stream music to their car stereos, home stereos and anything else that has an input jack.
Funding Efforts of FLOW
FLOW is currently seeking funding on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. Many people have already backed the popular product, over $33,000. With a project deadline of September 11, 2012 they are looking to exceed their official goal of $250,000.
Depending on the pledge of each backer on Kickstarter, they will get added to the newsletter, receive an official EarTop Technologies t-shirt, or get their own FLOW Series. Backers of the Custom Distribution Package and Advanced Custom Distribution Package will also get invitations to the product’s launch party.
